Karla Forde, Accountant and Founder

Karla Forde is an accountant who has dedicated 15 of her 20+ years of experience in public accounting to the payroll industry. Her passion is finding ways to make payroll processing quicker and easier for small business owners. So she started Business Cents Payroll in 2010 to provide accurate small business payroll services using a combination of convenient online tools and personalized one-on-one support.

Karla started her career in public accounting working at mid to large sized corporations. She’s held positions at Caterpillar Paving, Digital River, and Amplifon in Minneapolis. Karla is Certified in Accounting and has a degree in Business. She is registered as a Tax Professional with the IRS and fulfills all CE requirements per IRS regulations.
